Vol.1 The given English title is "MAGISTER NEGI MAGI".
After graduating the magic school... the dreams is to "become a teacher in Japan".
In order to become a fine wizard (Magister Negi), the 10-year-old-boy Negi Springfield comes to Japan to become a teacher at Mahora School. His training is to help those who in need he secretly uses magic... but one of his student, Asuna Kagurazaka sees him use magic, and...!

Vol.2 The protagonist Negi who had come over to teach as a teacher at school is finally fitting in with the environment, but a new problem arises in front of Negi and the class! The five flunkers (aka "The Baka Rangers") of the class hears rumors that if anyone flunks the next test, the whole class will be suspended and they go on an adventure to find the magic book that turns all who reads it into geniuses said to be kept in the floating Library Island in the lake. There are rough character plan sketches included in the end of the book as well as a Negima Latin vocab guide.
Vol.3 Avoiding the giant golem, Negi and the five "Baka Rangers" barely manage to escape from Library Island. But did their mission succeed?!
Just as the situation seems to be returning to normal for Negi-sensei, she finds herself increasingly intrigued by a mysterious student named Evangeline. Who is this Evangeline, and what is she planning?!
Vol.4 Negima and pals head to Kyoto for the school trip! Negima has a secret mission, however; he has to both defend his students from the conflict between the Kansai Magic Association and the Kantou Magic Association, he also has a confidential message to deliver. The third volume of this light-hearted magical comedy features several great new characters, panty-stealing monkeys, and lot of hot springs action!
Vol.5 The school's Kyoto field trip continues! Unbeknownst to Negi himself, the students have started a game to decide who wins a kiss from their hapless teacher. The students go all out in their attempt to gain the prize, leading to chaos in Japan's ancient capital
Vol.6 Thanks to Setsuna's assistance Negi and the others manage to escape from Cinema Village. The group finally make it to the Kansai Magic Association's headquarters only to be faced with a hidden threat.

Vol.7 Looking back on the Kyoto field trip, Negi realizes that he was only able to emerge victorious through the help of allies like Asuna and Evangeline. Negi decides that he must become stronger. Meanwhile, a trip to the beach soon turns chaotic when man-eating (Negi-eating?) sharks appear!
Vol.8 Negi becomes Evangeline's pupil, taking lessons at her cottage. His studies are interrupted, however, by visits from Asuna and friends. Meanwhile, an old enemy returns to menace Mahora Academy
Vol.9 It's been four months since Negi arrived in Japan, and the date of his first ever school fair is fast approaching. Both Negi and the girls of class 3-A are committed to making this festival a success, but will they be able to pull it off without a hitch
Vol.10 At last the school festival begins, the Mahora campus transformed into a wonderful theme park. Negi can barely contain his excitement, but Negi has a variety of responsibilities to fulfill, including helping with the event preparations and taking Nodoka out for a date. Awaking from a nap in the health room, however, Negi is devastated to discover that he's overslept. Or has he? His mysterious pocket watch seems to be running backwards
Vol.11 Negi helps out with the school festival's haunted house before becoming involved with the school CosPlay contest. Asuna, Konoka, and the girls go all out, dressing up in a variety of adorable outfits.
Vol.12 When the Mahora Martial Arts Tournament begins it's Master versus Student, with Asuna pitted against Setsuna! Asuna receives some cryptic advice from a mysterious sorcerer, words of wisdom that grant Asuna tremendous powers. Who is this wizard, and why does he seem to know so much about Negi's father
Vol.13 The Mahora Martial Arts Tournament is in full swing, and Negi learns that his opponent, should he progress to the finals, will be his very own father
